As a believer, prayer is very important, worship is important and communication with the lord is very important. The Word of God talks about being connected to the vine, which is Jesus and we are the branches. John 15 starting with verse one, on down, i say's I am the true vine and My Father is the gardener. He cut off every branch in Me hat bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, as i also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; It must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches if you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. If you so not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. if you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is My Father'd glory, that you bear fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples. As the Father has love Me, so have I loved you. Now remain in My love. So like the scriptures say, He is the vine we are the branches, we must stay connected to the vine, so that we as the branch will not be thrown into the fire. We must stay connected to the vine and pray so we can bear fruit and greater than, that much fruit. The fruit is answered prayer, it brings glory to the Father. And we most definitely want to be bring glory to our heavenly Father. Because we will tell everybody what the Lord has done most definitely will. It was in my heart to do a book of prayers for new believers. i know when i first came to the Lord, i did not know where to start in prayer. A pastor finally told me to start desiring to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire, so I did and in two weeks i was speaking in tongues in my living room, the Lord touched me Himself. And i have never been the same thank you Jesus.
