This A Celebration of Holy Men and Women began as a series of articles in a magazine. Sr Wendy reflects on images of a selection of saints – not just paintings. As before, she brings out of the image what for her is its Christian content. In so doing we get the benefit of her insight into the image as a work of art. This is mostly helpful but sometimes frustrating.
