Undoubtedly this is a weighty publication my recollection of "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" comes from my teens when I was given the book and found a really enjoyable and easy read, which had a massive impact on my faith as a young Christian. Fast forward 40 years and I want to give the book to a non christian friend so I buy this "completely updated" version. On arrival I find it has been revised into a really heavy weight academic book of some 800 pages of double column dense text - there is no way my friend would even take this book of the shelf - a really disappointing revision
