This is a witty, vibrant and intelligent book aimed at the ‘Chickfic’ generation and readers, but don’t let that put anyone off it because as I’ve said it is at the end of the day a really intelligent and insightful book that deals with looking at sex and the city type ideas from a thoroughly Christian perspective - dating, relationships, temptation, pride and more are all covered in this book with keen insight, innate honesty and a totally amusing big dash of humour and asides. There is in this book little judgement but there is a healthy dose of commonsense and best direction on what to do and how to do it, to either avoid the common girl’s pitfalls or to get back out of them once you’ve fallen into them. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed reading this book and found it very refreshing, though I have to admit that not everything in it spoke volumes to me, however even those sections were still a fun and enjoyable read.
