There are plenty of examples in the Bible for political and social involvement but not for a system. There are also warnings. Those who want to force Bible-believing people out of government, media, social communication, business, education... hurt especially the poor. When Bible-believing persons have avoided involvement as unspiritual, we wonder why things are falling apart?Jesus did not pray in His High Priestly Prayer that His people would be taken out of the world (John 17:15). Instead believers are be God's redemptive showcase to be salt and light, not mere "ornaments" for the Fellowship. Without spelling out political planks before one can be born again, Jesus has people working "under the radar" when big government programs fail the vulnerable, but believers are leaven for what God is baking in the world.
