Sharing Ways and Wisdoms is an enlightening and thought-provoking collection of accounts of and by Christians and others in many coun­tries who live out their faith with dignity, courage and hope in situa­tions ranging from poverty and per­secution to conflict and the strug­gle to build strong communities.

The hope of this book is that the sharing of ways and wisdoms may be an experience which will change those who read it in the way any of us may be changed if we had travelled around the world or lived through some of the events.

The faith of this book is that every person's vision, culture and pil­grimage will be taken seriously; that we may come to understand, trust and respect the people we en­counter and thus respect their ways of life, and empathise when ways have been lost through war, oppression and poverty.
