    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

There are twelve contributors to this compilation, including our own Archbishop of Canterbury. They are all eminent and eloquent theologians and each offers his own perspective on the third person of the Trinity. Altogether it is an in-depth study of the Holy Spirit, the fruit of a conference held in 2010 in London which was underpinned by the conviction that the true home of theology was the Church. The contributors come from many different church traditions. Some of the subjects dealt with are - Church faith and religious diversity; one Spirit, many tongues; the Holy Spirit in ordinary life; the Spirit and political theology; New Testament Pneumatology; the extensive presence of the Spirit in the world today. This is a challenging book that demands careful reading, but the result is well worth it.
