Do you feel frazzled? Frantic? Fearful you haven’t got enough?

In a world obsessed with more, where potential is maximised, and busyness is glorified, another reality also exists: we all have limits - and many of us are living at the edge of them.

Why Less Means More shows you how saying no to one thing might mean saying yes to something far better.

What would it look like to pursue less success and more significance? To live with less complexity and more clarity? To chase less of the ‘extraordinary’ and celebrate more of the ‘ordinary’ moments that make up an extraordinary life?

Cathy Madavan, accomplished author and speaker, invites you to leave your fear and franticness behind and discover more space, simplicity and the truth that less really can lead to more.

What a special book! It is clearly and thoughtful set out, beautifully written and brilliantly funny in places! I read Why Less Means More (a chapter a day) and found it so inspiring. It feels like parts of it give voice to some things I have felt here and there in my spirit in different ways and it has helped to bring clarity and a more well-formed plan of action in seeking to live some of it out in a more intentional way. The little comparison tables at the end of each chapter are unbelievably helpful. I've bought 4 copies of the book already. One for myself and 3 to give away to friends. I really recommend it!

I love Cathy's writing style .... its like sitting down for a coffee with a friend ... with loads of thought provoking comments thrown in along the way! I read this book on holiday - and then when I got home reread it in slower time, a chapter a day - letting myself be challenged by the nuggets along the way. There is an authenticity in the stories and reflections shared - which makes them very relatable. In a society where we have got back to some kind of normal post the challenges of the Covid years, it's good to pause and remind ourselves of the things that are important to us. Highly recommend - enjoy the read!
