Barbara and Reninga Leininger are two sisters who are separated when their 1755 English colony is attacked by native Americans and they are taken hostage. As Barbara grows older in captivity, surrounded by unfamiliar cultures and surroundings, she clings to her faith and decides to escape. Risking everything, she makes her way through the hard Ohio wilderness, with only her faith the God will help her through and help her escape her captors turned pursuers.

Set during a time when a brutal war is waged across the country between French settlers and native Americans, Alone Yet Not Alone is an inspiring true story of faith in extreme hardship and a stunning historical portrayal of a turbulent time in American History.

Directed by Ray Bengston (The Visit) and George D. Escobar (Come What May), Alone Yet Not Alone is a film not only loved by audience and critics, but also key Christian writers like Max Lucado who wrote:

"I loved it! The story is gripping, photography stunning and message so wonderfully reassuring. On behalf of the scores of viewers whose spirits will be lifted by this project - thank you, thank you, thank you"

So dive into the rich period detail, remarkable characters, thrilling story and inspiring faith that makes Alone Yet Not Alone a richly rewarding and entertaining movie where 'Their Faith Became Their Freedom'.
