    Bought this because I remembered how good it was when it was broadcast on the TV and wanted to snap it up while I had the opportunity. Well acted, directed and produced with good quality detail to Jesus up bringing and life. The lighting storm at the crucifixion scene was real and gave the production team and cast the 'heebeejeebees' , The Lord's contribution to a fine production.

    Outstanding i loved every minuite although i have to say i thought it was the film but it is the series which i had never seen i saw the original movie in the 70's and was mesmerised by Robert Powells portrayal but the series is good because you can pick an episode if you want to here a particular parabel or saying of jesus i would recomend it to everyone

    Watched this film for the first time .it was great.cryed my eyes out seeing Jesus on the cross.will watch the film many more times.gives you a better understanding of the Bible.

    Our whole family LOVE the ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ DVD (starring Robert Powell); & am wondering if, by any chance, this is now available le with sub-titles for hearing-impaired people?? I am constantly searching for Christian DVDs with sub-titles, as my hearing is very poor. I am finding that most secular DVDs now have sub-titles, whereas most Christian DVDs do not have them, which I feel is tragic; as surely ALL people need to ‘hear’ the gospel message! Looking forward to your reply, & hoping for some good news on this subject, (Mrs) Patricia Snow.

    It can vary dependant on the manufacturers of the DVD whether there are sub-titles or not. Jesus of Nazareth is an English ... full uncut version on Dvd with English subtitles and picture/sound upgrade.
