The Chosen Season 1

A really enjoyable, well made DVD and useful for use in small group settings as a discussion starter.

Having watched the first series, I wanted to share the films with other people to encourage them in their walk with Christ Jesus. I'm hoping the next series are as good as the first one. Thank you Eden for providing them at a sale price – which I could afford.

I have found it difficult to tie up the drama with biblical characters. I watched the first episode twice to see if I could understand it better. I have not had the chance to see the next episode yet.

I wanted to complete the set and I hadn't got Season 1, so was really pleased to receive it. I could recommend this as thought-provoking and very close to what I imagine the reality to be. None of us know for certain, but these DVDs help to stimulate the imagination of what the biblical reality may be.

'The Chosen' series of DVDs have 'brought to life' for me just how incredible Jesus' impact as the Son of God was upon the people He met, and called to follow Him, in his human lifetime. The Gospels outline Jesus' lifetime in words - great words. I've seen one or two other films that seek to show the life of Jesus based upon the Gospel narratives, but I have to say that Series 1 of 'The Chosen' introduces and portrays Jesus' life, love, ministry and power in such an effective way - far more powerfully than any previous film or portrayal to date. Also, it maintains the 'Gospel Truth' literally and faithfully throughout. I aim to buy the entire series of 'The Chosen' DVDs in time. They help me to worship Him in even more awe than ever. I'm also lending them to people I know both as a means of blessing and, potentially, evangelism too. May you watch too and be blessed!

I previously had this DVD as a result of hearing reference to The Chosen during a Sermon in church. Having acquired it, I watched it and found it very interesting (as well as entertaining) I lent it to a friend who has still got it. I am happy for them to keep it but wanted to have easy access to this series hence my re-purchase of Series 1. As far as I understand it, the plan is to make 7 series in total. Given the success of The Chosen, it seems that films based on it may be released. My prayer is that it will be used by God to lead more people have a relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit works in their lives.

I can't stop watching the Chosen it's great everyone should watch it.

My wife and I love this series and can't wait for series four. Jesus has been cast perfectly and I love the portrayal of Mathew.

I bought this for a friend and immediately sent it off, so I didn’t get much time with it, but the design was exquisite. I’m sure she will be spiritually fulfilled by it. #God’sPlan
