Looking for a film for the whole family, or for a Church movie night?

A thrilling challenge to believe God, no matter what.

God's Not Dead proves that movies can be engaging and suitable for all the family

Compelling stories and dramatic proof that God is not dead - ignite important conversations and life-changing decisions

Introducing the U.S. Box Office smash hit - 'God's Not Dead' - taking Christian cinema to new heights.

Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper, from High School Musical 2) has an eventful first day at college. His Philosophy teacher, Professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo, from Hercules & Andromeda), begins class by demanding that his new students declare that God is dead. If not, they fail his course. Surrounded by classmates scribbling those three words on their fresh notepads, Josh faces a dilemma.

Does he stand up for his faith or secure his future?

Choosing the narrow path Josh nervously refuses declaring himself a Christian. From that moment on Josh has his own special assignment: to prove God's existence to his atheist professor and his many classmates. Over the course of the semester he must continually stand on the intellectual platform and present his case. Can he actually prove the existence of God?

Described as "entertaining, profound, and powerful", God's Not Dead intertwines stories of faith, doubt, and sheer disbelief. The result is a film that will cause viewers to reflect on their own belief and spark religious discussion. Perfect for family and youth group viewing.

God's Not Dead DVD shows how God works with and through people and how everything fits together in God's plan to help people get where they need to be. The movie also shows that, no matter how little faith you have, God will use that to help those that are in need of God. You'll see how Christians - and non-Christians - experience God when they really begin to search for the answer to whether God is alive and active.

Running time: 120 minutes.

How far would you go... to defend your belief in God?

Present-day college freshman and devout Christian, Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper), finds his faith challenged on his first day of Philosophy class by the dogmatic and argumentative Professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo).

Radisson begins class by informing students that they will need to disavow, in writing, the existence of God on that first day, or face a failing grade. As other students in the class begin scribbling the words 'God Is Dead' on pieces of paper as instructed, Josh find himself at a crossroads, having to choose between his faith and his future.

Josh offers a nervous refusal, provoking an irate reaction from his smug professor. Radisson assigns him a daunting task: if Josh will not admit that 'God Is Dead', he must prove God's existence by presenting well-researched, intellectual arguments and evidence over the course of the semester, and engage Radisson in a head-to-head debate in front of the class. If Josh fails to convince his classmates of God's existence, he will fail the course and hinder his lofty academic goals. With almost no one in his corner, Josh wonders if he can really fight for what he believes.

Can he actually prove the existence of God? Wouldn't it just be easier just to write 'God Is Dead' and put the whole incident behind him?

GOD'S NOT DEAD weaves together multiple stories of faith, doubt and disbelief, culminating in a dramatic call to action. The film will educate, entertain, and inspire moviegoers to explore what they really believe about God, igniting important conversations and life-changing decisions.

GOD'S NOT DEAD features a talented cast of actors including Kevin Sorbo (SOUL SURFER, HERCULES, ANDROMEDA), Shane Harper (GOOD LUCK CHARLIE, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2), David A.R. White (BROTHER WHITE, REVELATION ROAD and JERUSALEM COUNTDOWN), and Dean Cain (LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN), with special appearances by Christian super-band Newsboys and 'Duck Dynasty's Willie and Korie Robertson.

This is well worth viewing and would help shine a light on the one true God for non believers. There were some really good points made in the debates that help me as a relatively new Christian (four years) to speak to people about my beliefs.

This is a well acted, well directed and well produced Christian movie. I enjoyed it personally for the questions it posed and the way the characters struggled with their doubts, fears and genuine questions about what was happening to them and whether there was a deeper meaning to life (for the non-Christian characters) and what was worth standing up for (for the Christain characters). I have since shown it to my 12-15 youth group as part of our movie and discussion group and it certainly raised lots of reactions and questions. We have watched it in two sittings as it is a very dense movie with lots of strands and lots of topics that can be covered: forgiveness, witness, standing up for Jesus, equal yoking etc. I would highly recommend.

Really worth watching: an entertaining drama - exciting, well wrought and thought-out, and acted too. It shows-up what life is really like in academia, with many academics having a very hostile prejudice against Christians and the faith of Christ. There are several story-lines weaved into one, which makes it all so interesting.
