After Brendan King's life spiralled to rock bottom, the teen found hope in a new relationship with Christ while serving time in a juvenile penitentiary. Recently released from prison, Brendan finds solace in the foster home of a couple struggling with suppressed grief.

As the city-bred teen enrols at a suburban high school, he finds support from a group of believers. Yet the bonds of his old way of life are still strong and his old gang wants to know where he hid the stash from a robbery long ago. in his darkest moment, Brendan found faith.

Now he must decide if it's worth the price to hold on to it.

    The film was a bit slow in places, and when it started to pick up towards the end, the most annoying thing happened - the film just kept re-winding to a previous scene, so I'm not sure how the story actually ends, which was frustrating.

    It was a story that encourages, because it was of the past trying to capture us again. It was a journey of trusting in God to be our help in time of need. A film that showed how we fail sometimes, but there is always a way back. It takes more courage to walk by faith, than to surrender to the world. We all will face those moments, so real fim of encouragement about the reality of life, whatever our own past is, we can be overcomes with Christ. Good film.
