This is a nearly two hour film that follows the Hillsong band on tour around the world for nearly two years. In this film they show extreme poverty and talk about there desire to show God's love in practical ways and they argue that all Christians should do this. I don't doubt their commitment to their charitable work or question their motives. I agree that Christians should offer practical help to those who are suffering both inside and outside the church. They do however present Christianity as being essentially about confronting injustice. I think they use selected verses in the Bible and selected Bible translations to support this view and they down play the importance of salvation, sanctification & righteousness in the Christian faith. Yes God is love, but God is also Holy. This is a very political film but as the book of James teaches faith without works is dead. So this is no a Blu ray of one of their concerts.
