    Please note: the lighter bit in the middle is not any sort of metal embedded in the wood; it is two cuts that go all the way through. So what is seen in the photo is the light from behind.

    The cross has a good design to it, with the cut-out cross in the centre of it. It looks more like an engraved cross instead of a cut out. It is always a joy to wear it. Although it may not necessarily truly mean anything, but the fact it is from/uses wood from Bethlehem holds sentimental value. It is a good affirmation of our faith in Jesus Christ and what He has done for us, and that He is with us always.
