The most prominent feature in all of the Yamaha Piaggero series keyboards is their compact design combined with maximum functionality. "Piaggero," the name of the NP-Series, combines "Piano" with the word "leggero," a musical term meaning, "light." As the name states, the NP15 is extremely light, weighing only 5.2 kg, making it ideal for taking it on the road with you or storing it away easily. A power adaptor is included, but it also runs on batteries making it possible for you to play wherever you are!

The USB B connection allows you to connect your Piaggero instrument to your computer for MIDI communication for music production or link to your iOS device. Connect the instrument to Yamaha’s "Smart Pianist" app, developed exclusively for use with Yamaha’s digital pianos, for even more intuitive operation. If you want to take a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube, TikTok and so on, Rec'n'Share is the way to go. Connect the Piaggero to your smart device and record both video and audio at the same time to complete your video.
