With a mission to write songs that "awaken churches and individuals to the fact that we are redeemed and called into the story of God", the group have brought songs that have crossed the world, bringing countless Christians from countless backgrounds together as one. In this new release, Hillsong UNITED present songs that help you push through pain and out into unity with God and with the church.

Part of the message of People is accepting that we are flawed - but that God is still madly in love with us. Recognising the failing of human-ness is painful, but it also offers a shot at honest worship that heals and unites us completely. Telling the story of the song 'As You Find Me', Hillsong UNITED frontman Joel Houston shares how his own second-guessing and loss of confidence eventually led to "understanding there is a very human side to who we are," and that we need God's love "more than anything".

Throughout the entirety of People, this is a desire for everyone to experience unity through worship: unity as a Church and as a people. Yes, people are flawed, but it's for people that Jesus came.

    This is an awesome album, not one song that I don’t like. Worship songs at there best, Ben Hastings and Joel Houston two gifted songwriters.. can’t stop listening to it and Highlands ( song of ascent) is my favourite of the album, may God bless Hillsong ministry more and more. Just a great worship album yet again!

    Brilliant dvd/cdI thought I would play the cd while doing bit of house work, only to find my player in the kitchen not working, so put the dvd on instead guess the house work will have to wait as can't hear the tv all over the house 😂 it's got repeats of of 6 songs on bonus played acoustic so will have to watch them too.Thank you Hillsong for another awesome cd/dvd that takes you into the presence of God in your own front room

    Not really impressed with this album. Far to much Joel huston in the production and nothing as balanced as their last album There is more. Just a lot of noise and not enough spiritual reflection overall. What a disappointing contrast. Allan Chesney, Lincolnshire.
