    1 Cor 1:26 tells us that "not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:‭". However, there are some exceptions, and Bilquis Sheikh is one of those. Coming from a family of high nobility and national significance the cost of forsaking worldly prestige and benefits to follow a despised and rejected group of infidels would come at great cost, but like Moses, she would esteem "the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt". Truly this is an ispiring testimony of God's ability to protect and provide for those who dare to call Him Father.

    I had read this years ago when it first came out, but on second reading this vivid account of a Moslem woman coming to Christ was again as challenging and heart warming as on first reading. It should encourage us all to deepen our prayer for our Moslem neighbours and to become friends with them.
