Spring Harvest Holidays

Le Fenouiller, France
Summer 2026
Posted 1 weeks ago
Closes: 11 Jan 2026

LPO is a brilliant place for children, adults, couples, those travelling solo and families. This is due to the vast range of activities for all ages which our Animateurs play a central role in delivering. Young people love their LPO holidays and pester their parents to come back again and again. They love the freedom, the friendships, the programmes and the activities. Our age-grouped sessions in the mornings have a mix of Christian content, games and high-energy fun. For many, it is in these sessions that they make leaps forward in their Christian faith. It is the role of our Animateur team to create the fun, the energy, the passion and brilliant communication. Our parents appreciate knowing their children and young people are having an amazing morning while they enjoy the morning Bible Study or a quiet swim or coffee. With a full programme of afternoon and evening activities, sports and entertainment, there is something for all ages to enjoy and our Animateurs are right there in the centre of the action helping deliver the vital ingredients that makes up an LPO holiday. They also support our Bénévole teams to ensure the site runs smoothly. There is also the opportunity to serve as part of our Tech Team. For further details please refer to the Volunteer Brochure (below) and the Tech Team Role Description. Apply for this specific role here. For many, our Animateurs are the face of LPO: the people who really make their holiday experience. All Animateur roles are for 39 hours per week. Accommodation and food are provided, plus assistance with travel. For those working three weeks or more, there is the option to apply for sponsorship. To join the team you must be over 18, passionate about your Christian faith, energetic and love working in a people-facing role, particularly with children or young people. You’ll also need to be fluent in English. It’s hard work, but also great fun and immensely rewarding. Be sure to submit your application by midnight on 11th January. Please be advised that there will be no training weekend in May. However, you will be required to complete some essential online training sessions prior to your arrival. Feedback from past Animateurs: "Just fantastic - full of so much joy, fun, leading, growing and Jesus!!!” "You can't beat a summer in blue!" "The joy of the Lord is our strength!" "The only thing you'll regret is not staying for longer!" "A life-changing summer!" "You can just feel God in every step you take!" "LPO 2025 was truly life-giving! Especially witnessing young people dedicating and recommitting their lives to God, whilst also sharing in moments of prayer, play and laughter. I was deeply encouraged by the testimonies we shared and the way we pushed each other to practically keep the faith. It was a summer of service, sunshine, family, ministry and a reminder of God’s faithfulness in every moment – large and small!"
