During a season of desolation and wandering, I've been writing songs to remind me that we are headed somewhere beyond this — songs that remind me that it is the God of Abraham and Isaac, the God of Jacob, Moses and David, the God who promised a Saviour and a way back to Him, it is He that we follow and He has not left us alone. On the other side of the desert is a land of covenant promise... This album is a celebration of the future we are marching towards together and a prayer that each of us can live in this promise in the here and now."

    Awesome CD from a God inspired man. I love Good God Almighty best but all the music and Lyrics give glory to God. I must admit I think this album is fantastic but Crowder's later 'Exile' album just blows my socks off with even more powerful Lyrics. I have only recently 'found' Crowder and for me, he is up there with Casting Crowns as the elite of Christian contemporary music.

    I can't praise this album enough. Such a different variety of song with the glory all going to God. I can't pick a favourite song. It's all wow, wow, wow.
