Eve.

First woman. First to be tempted. First to sin.

But what if there were more to her story than that?

Forever Loved: Eve’s Story is the story of Father and daughter, as told by Eve. It is the story of a love so passionate, so deep, so beautiful it pursues Eve even in her darkest moment, lavishing forgiveness, life and hope on her. It is the story of the Father’s heart for you, his precious daughter.

Forever Loved: Eve's Story includes:

• My Story: The author’s personal story of encountering God as Father.

• Eve's Story: A beautifully creative retelling of the Bible story of Eve.

• Your Story: Encouragement and prayers to take you deeper into God’s presence.

'It’s a great joy for me to read the result of Joanna’s encounter with her heavenly Daddy after receiving Bethel Sozo ministry. In Forever Loved: Eve’s Story, Joanna retells Eve’s life through this new revelation of who Father God is.' Ros Dunlop, Bethel Sozo Team, Bath City Church

'Wow! I was really impacted by this book. It’s not just for women. I think every man serious about his relationship with God should read this, not just to understand the women in his life better, but to have a deeper revelation of God's nature. I'm very very excited to get as many people as possible reading this.' Greg Albrecht, Pastor, Every Nation Church, Slough

'Just read … in tears … so awesome. What a Father we have! Can't wait to recommend it to lots of people.' Rebecca Brownridge, Women's Leader, Wales

I really enjoy reading Biblical fiction, particularly those books which centre around women from the Bible. This book is written from Eve's perspective and within its pages, we see the heart of God as Father and his unconditional, endless, love for Eve. There is pain and heartbreak, but also joy and hope in her story. Always at the centre is the message of God's love and acceptance. There is a real depth to Eve's Story with so much more in it than can be discovered on just one reading. Although it is an imaginative retelling, Biblical truth is intertwined throughout the book. For me, this is what makes it even more compelling reading. The themes of love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, relationship, restoration which are major themes in the Bible can all be found in this book too. This book is not just Eve's Story – it is ours too. Yours and mine. I see my story in Eve's. My need to be loved and accepted. My need for security, self-worth and significance. My feelings of brokenness, pain, shame, guilt and rejection. There is hope for Eve, a hope that is met in the forever love her Papa gives her. There is hope for each of us too. We can receive from God our Father the same love Papa gave Eve. He meets our deepest need and he draws us closer to himself. He heals our brokenness and restores us. This book, I think, will be more popular amongst women than men. I would recommend it to any woman, whatever stage they are at in life, whether they are taking their first steps to discovering God as their Father or are further along in their journey. I believe it could be especially helpful for those who struggle to know God as their loving Father. If like me, your desire is to know God at a deeper level, then this book is for you too. Although I do believe this book will be more popular with women, this is not to say men will not enjoy reading it because at the heart of us all is a desire to be loved and accepted for who we are and this book tells us how that desire can be met through knowing God as our loving Father.

A genuinely unique book - I've read nothing like this before! Joanna May Chee's re-telling is based solidly on the Biblical text, but then she 'creatively imagines' what might have happened in between, in order to highlight some very interesting aspects of Eve's story which are right there in Genesis and which I'd never noticed on previous readings. This book really made me think, and appreciate God's love further. Also, it's not a long book, which makes it a great gift, as you're not burdening someone with something which will end up on their shelf, but giving them a bit of digestible devotional space. Wonderful stuff.

This is a beautifully crafted and movingly told story of Eve and her first relationship with God as her Father Creator. I read it in one sitting, and am about to start over again. There are depths of God's love here to soak into your heart. It is a book to touch the heart of every woman (and even some men too) with the love of Father God for her. I was overwhelmed with the amazing desire of God to be with me, His total acceptance and total joy in us His own precious children. The study guide is so helpful and heart stirring as well. I thoroughly recommend this book, and to buy it for your friends!
