      This book takes 4 very different Christian women of different ages with different problems, and walks them through a time of renewal of hope and purpose in their life. I havent finished it yet, but can identify in so many ways with different aspects of all of them - can heartily recommend to those who might feel stuck, or burnt out.

      First in the series of four, this book very quickly draws you in to embrace the four primary characters as they meet, build their friendship, and learn with and from each other. But more than that, I also found myself learning some very valuable lessons for my own spiritual journey! Highly recommended👍

      I was quickly drawn in to the lives of the 4 main characters, with their compelling backgrounds and challenges. I loved the end-of-chapter guidelines on various traditional Christian spiritual disciplines, such as the Prayer of Examen; the characters had engaged with these in the chapter, via their spiritual director Katherine, a fount of wisdom! I have practised some of these since reading the novels, and now incorporate them in my own faith journey. The author has a gift for dealing with big issues and knotty life challenges with a light touch and a great imagination. Can't wait for the last book to be published this year (2018).

      I loved this book so much I have since bought 5 copies as presents for friends! The book is an inspiring blend of novel and spiritual disciplines which can be adopted and used by the reader. The story follows the lives of 4 women and I found myself identifying with the situations and lives of the characters which helped to bring the book to life. I took the book on holiday and it made great holiday reading. I highly recommend it.
