I expected to enjoy this book as I had thoroughly enjoyed reading Mark Bradford’s previous book (Encountering the Risen Christ). I was not disappointed and in fact found this book to be very helpful and has had a huge impact on my faith journey. The Space Between has really helped me to process certain aspects of my life and situations that continue to happen. The book is firmly based on scripture and is an honest and relatable read. Ideas and views are offered without judgment or forced views. I found that I kept wanting to pick it up and read it; I found it a very easy read. I now plan to go back through it again more slowly as I know it will keep helping me on my journey with God. I have bought further copies for family as I found it so helpful and am confident that they will find it helpful too.

Mark Bradford writes in an engaging and accessible way about a very timely issue. The structure of the book is helpful and allows the reader to explore different lenses through which to view the space between as well as to discover tools which can be used on the journey through. It is a book full of hope and wisdom and I found it personally encouraging. I particularly enjoyed the various links made to Bible passages, church seasons, historical practices and contemporary stories. I will come back to this book again and again.
