  • Joni Eareckson, paralyzed by a diving accident - changed into an activist for the disabled community.
  • Isobel Kuhn, a questioning young girl - changed into a tireless missionary to the people of Burma.

And six more inspiring true stories including Gladys Aylward, Granny Brand, and Jackie Pullinger.

This book is packed with good examples of girls who have stood up for what they believed in and were a blessing in what they did. It's has multiple examples of persons who used the gifts that God gave them for the best, and scattered God's love on people, using the characteristics that God gave each one of them.

I haven't given this book as yet to my granddaughter. who's 11. I've been reading it though I'm familiar with the story of most of these Godly women. I'll be passing it on to her very shortly!
