    Have read the Bible in a year for many years but this is a new approach that is very helpful. A built in commentary gives guidance when reading the passages each day. It is quite a chunky book, and I have only been using it for a week. I am sure that I will find it more useful during the year ahead, and that the Lord will help me come to a better understanding of His Word.

    The comments that Nicky Gumbel gives highlight the main points of each passage. He relates God’s Word to everyday life. It commences in Psalms, Genesis and Matthew. I’m particularly getting a lot out of the Psalms. In the past, I’ve found daily readings to have too little content, and while this is also a concordance, I can understand it as he’s written it in a way that makes it easy to understand. I would say it’s more of a study. I’ve found it challenging and inspiring. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you buy it.

    Does this book cover every verse in the bible as the title suggests or just a selection of verses selected from all or some of the books of the bible? Please advise. Many thanks RW

    I have looked into this for you and I can confirm over a year this product does go through the whole bible but is selected verses each day so may not be in the chronological bible order.But over the year it will cover all of the bible.

    I like to read the whole bible in a year from time to time. Does this book have the complete bible text plus Nicky Gumble's comments on it??

    I have looked into this for you and can confirm that each day is a different bible study based upon the verses selected for the day. Those verses are commentated on through a guided study.
