    This is a well written and wonderfully illustrated lovely book to read with my Grandchildren bringing the message of Christmas in a fun and enchanting way. The Grumpy Owl character is a lovable but miserable Owl who embarks on a great journey to get as far away as possible from anyone to be on his own even though he is lonely. We journey with him only to come back transformed and changed by the events taking place in his barn. The story of the nativity is being told in such a way that is sure to capture the hearts of children everywhere and a must have stocking filler on every child’s Christmas list.
