TV star, former SAS soldier, Guinness World Record holder, author and the first ever Chief Ambassador to World Scouting, Bear Grylls is an inspiration for youngsters who want to make the most of life's adventures. In his recent bestseller Soul Fuel Bear revealed for the first time the inspiration that helps him to stand strong and find peace each day. Now Soul Fuel for Young Explorers takes his message and inspires children and young people to find courage and confidence in this source too.

Bear offers seventy reflections along with stories from his own life -- brilliantly illustrated by Patrick Laurent -- making it a vibrant and engaging devotional for young readers.

'Faith doesn't mean you have to be especially "religious". But, in a nutshell, my faith tells me that I am known, that I am secure and that I am loved - regardless of the storms I may find myself in from time to time, regardless of how often I fall and fail.'- Bear Grylls

I bought this for a non-Christian 16 year old family member struggling with anxiety, alongside another Bear Grylls book on coping with such issues. It was received with real interest and thanks, which was encouraging, and I anticipate many opportune discussions will follow.

I was told the 6 year old boy I gave this book to, as a Christmas present, reads it in the morning and at night.

I bought this as a present for my 9 year old Nephew, who doesn’t go to church. I wasn’t sure if he would read it but my sister told me about one of the readings she had particularly enjoyed and when I asked my nephew what he thought he said he was really enjoying it. I’m so pleased it has got him reading the bible.

I bought this for a 10yr old girl, as I thought would suit her. Her mum texted me first to ask if I knew of any other books like it as her daughter could not put it down, than the girl thanked me for such a great book. Well done Bear Grylls, your book encourages, challenges, mentors and disciples within the covers. I enjoyed it too!

I sent to my 10 year old grandson for his birthday. He absolutely loved it, and keeps it in his bed at night so that he can read it when he wakes up early in the mornings. Thank you. Happy Granny.
