This was a good choice for my Granddaughter for her baptism.

I have given this book (and the boys' version) to parents/grandparents with pre-pubescent children and they've been very grateful. It has been a help in addressing the issue of sex to their girls and boys. It emphasies that the young people must see see sex as God-given and it for them to use in 'God's way', not the world's. Definitely useful to have a few copies handy as a resource - though for the carers to be the ones to actually give to their young ones and hopefully be there to chat about these sensitive issues.

Whilst much of the book was just what we'd hoped on both a scientific and biblical basis, some aspects of biblical interpretation were unwanted, voiding the whole book. e.g. gender differences being complementary (fine) the conclusions then drawn about who does what job (not fine)(p18)

Well presented and beautifully illustrated, this book gives age appropriate facts about puberty, marriage and sex all from the perspective of being wonderfully created by God. This book is a must for any parent of a girl aged 9-14 that wants their child to learn a Biblical perspective on growing up and relationships. I have looked at many books on this subject and this is definitely the best. My 13 year old daughter read it recently (we have already talked about the whole subject before) enjoyed reading it on her own and said that it was really helpful.
