There just aren’t enough chances to slow down.
Back in school, teachers would tell us to “take your time” on tricky problems. But, in the adult world, we no longer have someone telling us to “take your time”. Even though we never stopped needing it. Life demands soon take all our time for us.
This makes Lent courses the perfect time to step back and invest in your relationship with God.
For six weeks, through fasting and reflection, Christians around the world keep in mind what Christ’s death and resurrection mean. This year, Lent starts on the 3rd March 2022.
If you are feeling spent, Lent studies and Lent courses are a chance for you to ease off the accelerator and take your time in God’s presence. Each lent Bible study offers the chance to explore faith and life, whether as a group or on your own.
